Our new partnership with Community Driving School

During lockdown we met John Nicholson, CEO of the Community Driving School (CDS) via a zoom call, and the rest - as they say - is history!

John changes lives with back to work training and driving courses to make people more employable.

Formed in 2016, the aim of CDS is to allow those on a low wage, unemployed, young carers and students access to jobs previously beyond them and discourage people from driving illegally by accessing funds to assist pay for lessons and obtain a valid UK Driving Licence.

Our partnership has started with our CEO Keeley having driving lessons and working towards completing her theory test to pass her driving test. Yes, she's stepping up to show it can be done!

We are very excited about our future plans and will both help each other to raise awareness of our charities and support our local communities the best way we can. Joining Hands ... Joining Forces!

Adam's Beard to Sheared fundraiser raises an amazing £300!

Meet Adam, one of our lovely local community wardens from Kent County Council. Adam wanted to help us in raising some much needed funds for our small charity.

Adam pledged to grow his beard until 13th March when we shaved it all off completely! What a man to let a bunch of women anywhere near his beloved facial hair. AND if that wasn't enough, he also let us wax both legs! OUCH!

Take a look at at the 'sheared' event on our Facebook page.

We would like to thank Adam and everyone who donated much love and a huge thank you for supporting Adam's Just Giving campaign. Your donations will help us to make a change in our community. Love Hairless Adam & JHJH team x
